Every time I think about it, this feeling haunts me.
"Maybe if I stayed consistent, I would've been in a direction I always dreamed about" – This thought always lives in my mind.
Hi, my name is Teja. Ever since I got out of high school, I have always wanted to become a content creator. I grew up watching Geekyranjit and PrasadTechinTelugu. I always wanted to become a content creator myself. I had so many dreams. But I also had a very big enemy: me.
I started making YouTube videos 6 years ago in September 2020. That's a very long time tbh. If I had stayed consistent since then, I would've been in a position I'd be happy with.
But I was so very, very, very, very inconsistent that I've been in the same position since the beginning. In 6 years, I have posted only 45 videos.
6 years of doing something would make you an expert at it. But my procrastination and laziness made me still be where I was.
Sometimes I feel like "Maybe I should give it up. Maybe I'm not the right person for this." But the thing is, even if my mind tells me to leave it, my heart still clings on to it.
I've been making content on and off for 6 years on YouTube and Medium, and I have never made a dime. But my heart still says, "Go for it."
This feeling has caught my mind for the past few months, and I felt like spitting it out in this corner of the internet.
But I always told myself that I would make it. I believe it. I had to make it.
I should not make my future self regret the way I'm now. He won't. I'll make sure of it.
